Jurong Lake

Jurong Lake is a 70ha freshwater lake and reservoir located in the western region of Singapore formed with the damming of Sungei Jurong further downstream. The lake serves as a reservoir contributing to the water supply of the country. It lies next to the Lakeside MRT Station, which derived its name from this geographical feature. The lake is surrounded by parkland, which serves as a recreational ground for nearby residents in Jurong East and Jurong West New Towns.

Lakeside MRT Station (EW26) is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit station on the East West Line in Jurong, Singapore. Chinese Garden MRT Station

Chinese Garden MRT Station (EW25) is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit station on the East West Line in Jurong, Singapore. It serves residents in Yuhua and Hong Kah, as well people visiting the various tourist attractions in Jurong Lake, which includes the Chinese Gardens, where the station derived its name from. The colour scheme of the station is mostly brown, red and green. It is similar to the colour used in the interior of classical Chinese buildings.

Science Centre Singapore

The Science Centre Singapore, previously known as Singapore Science Centre is a scientific institution in Jurong East, Singapore, specialising in the promotion of scientific and technological education for the general public. Fuhua Secondary School

Fuhua Secondary School is a secondary school located in Jurong West, in the western part of Singapore. It started in 2000 and was officially opened on 10 July 2002 by Mr Lim Boon Heng, Minister, Prime Minister's Office and MP for Jurong GRC.
