Tuhinj Valley

The Tuhinj Valley is a valley in Slovenia linking the Celje Basin with the Ljubljana Basin in an east-west direction along the courses of the Nevljica and Motnišnica rivers. The western part of the valley was formed by the watershed of the Nevljica, flowing into the Kamnik Bistrica, and the narrower, eastern part by the Motnišnica, a tributary of the Savinja River. Their drainage divide is at the Kozjak Pass at an elevation of 655 m between Cirkuše v Tuhinju and Špitalič.

Atrans

Atrans is the Roman name for Trojane, a town in Central Slovenia. It was on the border between Italy and the province of Noricum. Ancient Romans built a road spanning Aquileia, Emona, Atrans and Celeia. This was a very important road, military, post and market place, and the town was surrounded by a defensive wall. The archaeological remains of Atrans can be still seen.

Dreta

Dreta is a river in Lower Styria, Slovenia. The river is 29 kilometres in length. Its source is near Črnivec Pass in Kamnik Alps. It flows through the town of Gornji Grad, Bočna, and Šmartno ob Dreti, and merges with the Savinja River in Nazarje.

Medija Thermal Spa

The Medija Thermal Spa is a spa located in the town of Izlake in central Slovenia. It was established in 1877 by the local businessman Alojz Prašnikar, although thermal baths at the location were already mentioned by Johann Weikhard von Valvasor in his The Glory of the Duchy of Carniola in the 17th century. Today's spa consists of a hotel, an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor pool complex. As of August 2010, the hotel and all facilities are closed.

Medija Castle

Medija Castle (Slovene: Medijski grad, Grad Medija, German: Schloss Gallenegg) is a castle ruin located in the western part of the settlement of Izlake in central Slovenia. The castle and its stables were destroyed by the Yugoslav Partisans during World War II. The castle chapel was later restored and now serves as a venue for plays, concerts, and other cultural events, as well as weddings.
