Carinthia (Slovenia)

Carinthia, also Slovene Carinthia or Slovenian Carinthia (Slovenska Koroška), is a traditional region in northern Slovenia. Its capital is Ravne na Koroškem. The Mislinja is a river in the northern part of Slovenia. It is 36 kilometres long. It flows through Mislinja and Slovenj Gradec and empties into the Meža River near Dravograd, just before the Meža joins the Drava River.

Meža

The Meža (Slovenian) or Mieß (German) is a 43 km (27 mi. ) river in the Austrian state of Carinthia and Slovenia. It has its source on the Austrian side of the border near Mount Olševa, becomes subterranean a kilometre from its source, and reappears on the surface in Koprivna near Črna na Koroškem, Slovenia. It is the central river of the Mežica Valley. It flows through Črna na Koroškem, Mežica, Prevalje, and Ravne na Koroškem, and into the Drava River at Dravograd.
