Savinja

The Savinja is a river in northeast Slovenia which flows mostly in the Upper and Lower Savinja Valley (Slovene: Zgornja in Spodnja Savinjska dolina) and through the cities of Celje and Laško. The Savinja is the main river of the Savinja Alps (Sln. Savinjske Alpe). It flows into Sava River at the town of Zidani Most. It has often flooded, such as in the 1960s, 1990, and 1995. The Savinja has a length of 102 kilometres .

Lisca

Lisca is a 948 m (3,110 ft) hill in the eastern part of the Sava Hills in southeastern Slovenia, northwest of Sevnica, north of the Sava, and south of Gračnica Creek. The hill offers a superb view. It is the most frequently visited hiking destination in the Sava Hills. The hill has two summits: Lisca and Little Lisca . At Lisca there is a meteorological station, the only one in Slovenia with a meteorological radar, and a ski slope. At Mala Lisca, there are three paragliding take-off sites.

Mirna (Sava)

The Mirna is a river in southeastern Slovenia. The river, in which the marathon swimmer Martin Strel first learned to swim, is a right tributary of the Sava River in the province of Lower Carniola. It is 44 kilometers long, starts below the settlement of Velika Preska, flows through the Mirna Valley and joins the Sava at Dolenji Boštanj, opposite Sevnica. The largest settlement on the river is Mirna.
