Yeste, Huesca

Yeste is a small village located in Las Peñas de Riglos municipality in Huesca, Aragon, Spain, 44 km far from the capital, Huesca. In 2006 it had a population of only 2, being completely unpopulated during the 20th century. In 1845 it had its own Capital Hall and prison and a population of 117. That same year it joined Santa María de la Peña, a slightly larger village located, together with Triste, thus becoming the three of them under the same administrative area.

San Juan de la Peña

The monastery of San Juan de la Peña is a religious complex in the town of Santa Cruz de la Serós, at the south-west of Jaca, in the province of Huesca, Spain. It was one of the most important monasteries in Aragon in the Middle Ages. Its two-level church is partially carved in the stone of the great cliff that overhangs the foundation. San Juan de la Peña means "Saint John of the Cliff".

Loarre Castle

Loarre Castle is a fortress in Loarre, Spain. The complex was built largely during the 11th and 12th centuries, when its position on the frontier between Christian and Muslim lands gave it strategic importance. The first of the two major building programs began ca. 1020, when Sancho el Mayor (r. 1063–94) reconquered the surrounding lands from the Muslims.
