Catalunya en Miniatura

Catalunya en Miniatura is miniature park inaugurated in 1983 in Torrelles de Llobregat, 17 km from Barcelona. With 60.000 square meters, 35.000 of them devoted to the scale models, it is one of the largest miniature parks in the world, and the largest of the 14 miniature building exhibitions present in Europe. It displays 147 models of palaces, churches, bridges and other buildings from Catalonia and Mallorca and it includes all the major works by the renowned architect Antoni Gaudí.

Platja de Castelldefels railway station

Platja de Castelldefels railway station is a small stop on the Rodalies Barcelona R2 line serving the beach district of Castelldefels (about 2 km south of the main town), approximately 17 minutes by train from Barcelona Sants Station. It is less than 200 metres from the beach, and is very busy during the summer months but almost deserted in winter. The station has two 200 m-long platforms connected by a footbridge and, since November 2009, an underpass.
