Ametlla de Mar Observatory is an astronomical observatory situated in L'Ametlla de Mar, Catalonia with the IAU observatory code 946. It is operated by Jaume Nomen, and takes part in Unicorn Project and Minor Planet Astrometry.

Circuit de Calafat

The Circuit Calafat was built in 1974 outside the town of the same name in the L'Ametlla de Mar in Catalonia. Private finance paid by the company Calafat, S.A. , which cost a total of 30 million pesetas. Fans made their own contribution, purchasing shares in the facility worth a total of 25,000 pesetas. The track closed temporarily during 1982 and 1985 because of legal problems but soon recovered. In 1990 an extension to the circuit was constructed, bringing it up to its current 3.2 km length.

Morral de Cabrafeixet

Morral de Cabrafeixet is one of the highest mountains of the Cardó Massif, Catalan Pre-Coastal Range, Catalonia, Spain. Its NW side has an impressive escarpment visible from Highway N-340 approaching El Perelló from the north. This mountain has an altitude of 753 metres above sea level. Balma de Cabrafeixet is a prehistoric site with cave paintings located right below the Morral de Cabrafeixet escarpment. The entrance to the cave has been closed with an iron bar door to prevent vandalism.

Buinaca

Buinaca or Punta de la Buinaca, also spelt Boinaca, is one of the highest mountains of the Cardó Massif, Catalan Pre-Coastal Range, Catalonia, Spain. This mountain has an altitude of 764 metres above sea level. It is the highest peak of the Serra del Boix range and it is located at the southern end of the range in an area of massive rocky outcrops known as "Les Moles". There are many wind turbines atop the smoother neighboring ridges.
