Mañón

Manon is an opéra comique in five acts by Jules Massenet to a French libretto by Henri Meilhac and Philippe Gille, based on the 1731 novel L’histoire du chevalier des Grieux et de Manon Lescaut by the Abbé Prévost. It was first performed at the Opéra-Comique in Paris on January 19, 1884. Prior to Massenet's work, Halévy (Manon Lescaut, ballet, 1830) and Auber (Manon Lescaut, opéra comique, 1856) had used the subject for musical stage works.

Punta de Estaca de Bares

Punta de Estaca de Bares is the northernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, at a latitude of 43º 47' 38" North. It is located in Galicia. Conventionally, it marks the western end of the Cantabrian Sea, or Bay of Biscay, in the North Atlantic ocean. The peninsula of Estaca de Bares penetrates considerably into the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea, and as a result it is one of the rainiest places in Europe, with more than 2500 mm a year (a Temperate rain forest.

Coelleira

Illa Coelleira, or Colleira, is a small island located in the mouth of the Barqueiro river, off the town of Vivero, in the Rias Altas coastal region of Galicia, Spain. The island is part of O Vicedo municipality. It is known best as the site of a former monastery, and today houses a lighthouse to aid navigation.

San Miguel das Negradas

San Miguel das Negradas is one of the parishes of the municipality of O Vicedo in Galicia. San Miguel das Negradas is on the north-west coast of the province of Lugo, on the border with the municipality of Mañón in the province of A Coruña. The parish includes the island of San Martiño. In 1991 it had a population of 339 inhabitants distributed in the lugares of: San Roque (previously called Santa Mariña), with a chapel of the same name.
