Enroig

Enroig is a small village located within Xert municipal term, Baix Maestrat. Its population was 51 inhabitants in 2006. This small village is located 3 km west of Xert, close to the N-232 road. Until mid 20th century there were inns for people travelling between Vinaròs and Morella or beyond. These inns provided food and rooms for travellers as well as stabling and fodder for the horses pulling the coaches.

Ports de Morella

Ports de Morella (Spanish: Los Puertos de Morella), is a historical Valencian comarca. It takes its name from the city of Morella, its capital and the only place in the region having been granted the title of 'city'. It mostly overlaps with the present-day Ports comarca except for the municipal areas surrounding Catí and Vilafranca that were excluded from the present-day Ports administrative division.

Battle of Morella

The Battle of Morella (14 August 1084×88), southwest of Tortosa, was fought between Sancho Ramírez, King of Aragon and Navarre, and Yusuf al-Mu'tamin, King of Zaragoza, while the former was engaged in a campaign of conquest against the latter. All surviving sources for the battle are either later by a generation or literary in character, and they are confused on the chronology and dating of the event.
