Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium

Dambulla International Cricket Stadium (Sinhala: රංගිරි දඹුලු ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රීඩාංගනය, Tamil: தம்புள்ள இன்டர்நேஷனல் கிரிக்கெட் ஸ்டேடியம்) is a 30,000 seat cricket stadium in Sri Lanka. The Stadium is situated in the Central Province, close to Dambulla on a 60 acre (240,000 m²) site leased from the Rangiri Dambulla Temple. The stadium is built overlooking the Dambulla Tank (reservoir) and the Dambulla Rock.

Dambulla cave temple

Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site (1991) in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. This site is situated 148 km east of Colombo and 72 km north of Kandy. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings.
