Kopay
Kopayis a town located approximately 4 km from the city of Jaffna along Point Pedro road. It is an agricultural town consisting mainly of vegetable farms, paddy fields and coconut gardens. The suburb Kopay is blessed with several scholars because of very strong schooling system. Arumuganavalar established the school managed by Suwaminathan is famous for this. Arrival of missionaries strengthened the educational system.

Parameshwara College, Jaffna
Parameshwara College (Tamil: பரமேஸ்வரா கல்லூரி Paramēsvarā Kallūri) was one of the first Hindu schools in Ceylon. It was founded by Sir P. Ramanathan in 1921. His idea was to make the school a university. It began as a teacher training school and later conducted classes for the London Matriculation and Cambridge exams. Later, it followed the S.S.C. Exam and University Entrance syllabus.

Nallur (Jaffna)
Nallur,, is a holy place, and a suburb of the city of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. It is located 3 km away from the colour and bustle of Jaffna Town. Originally known by its royal term "Singai Nagar", Nallur previously functioned as the capital of the ancient Jaffna kingdom for many years during the Aryacakravarti dynasty. However much of the grace and grandeur which once flourished the town no longer exists, as a result of the Portuguese conquest in 1619.
