Kularathna College

Kularathna College is the one of leading school in the Ambalangoda region. The school has a more than 25 years history. Kularathna College, Ambalangoda, is a mix school in Sri Lanka. The school was established in 1986 by the Buddhist Theosophical Society led by Colonel Henry Steel Olcott, and accordingly is one of Sri Lanka's new schools. Kothduwa temple

The Kothduwa temple, or Koth Duwa Raja Maha Viharaya, is a Buddhist temple located on Kothduwa island on the Maduganga river in southern Sri Lanka. The island is located in Galle District of the Southern Province approximately 35 kilometres north of Galle and 88 kilometres south of Colombo. The temple is believed to have once sheltered the sacred relic of the tooth of the Buddha, circa 340 CE.

Balapitiya

Balapitiya is a coastal town, in south west Sri Lanka. It is located in the Southern Province in Sri Lanka. Situated 80 km South of Colombo, it is about a two-hour drive from the capital. It is the nearest town to the Maduganga River.

Ambalantota

Ambalantota is a coastal town in southern Sri Lanka. It's located in Southern Province in Hambantota District between Matara and Hambantota. The Walave River meets the sea near Ambalantota. The Ambalantota is famous for its ancient ruins of the Kingdom of Ruhuna. After his many conquests abroad King Gajaba returned to the country from Port of Godawaya that is within sight of Ambalantota.
