Found in the British era Ganemulla is a mid size town situated in the Gampaha District of Sri Lanka. Ganemulla is about 9 km from Kadawatha on the Colombo-Kandy road. The nearest city to Ganemulla is Gampaha, which is about 5 km in distance. Ganemulla is surrounded by Kadawatha, Gampaha, Ja-Ela and Kandana towns. De Mazenod College

De Mazenod College (DMC) was first founded in 1914. It is considered to be the leading Catholic Private school in Negombo Division, Western Province, Sri Lanka. It is a controlled by De La Salle Brothers which means the school is mainly a Catholic school. De Mazenod College is a mixed school. It has classes from grade 1 to grade 13.
