Gästrikland

 Gästrikland is a historical province or landskap on the eastern coast of Sweden. It borders Uppland, Västmanland, Dalarna, Hälsingland and the Gulf of Bothnia. Gästrikland is the southernmost of the Norrland provinces. Other used forms of the name is Gestricia, Gastrikland. Before 1900, the spelling was officially Gestrikland in Swedish.

Jernvallen

Jernvallen is a multi-use stadium in Sandviken, Sweden. In the 1958 World Cup there were two matches played at Jernvallen. It has the distinction of being the northernmost stadium to host a world cup match. It is currently used mostly for football matches. Although the record for the stadium is 20 000 people in 1958, today the stadium holds 7,000 people.

Göransson Arena

Göransson Arena is an indoor arena in Sandviken, Sweden. It is the home arena for the bandy team, Sandvikens AIK. It opened in 2009 and holds up to 4,000 people. The second Semi-Final of Melodifestivalen 2010 took place here.

Sandviken Municipality

Sandviken Municipality (Sandvikens kommun) is a municipality in Gävleborg County, in east central Sweden. The seat is the town Sandviken. The present municipality was created in 1971 through the amalgamation of the City of Sandviken (itself instituted in 1943) with a number of surrounding rural municipalities. The coat of arms was granted to the then City of Sandviken upon its institution in 1943. The device in the middle is a steam hammer.
