Os (spelled Ohs in older documents) is a small village that is part of the Värnamo Municipality, in the Småland province of southern Sweden. It is known for the museum railway, a narrow gauge railway only 600 mm wide, that has steam trains. The railway was created in the summer of 1910.

Nydala Abbey was a cistercian monastery in the province of Småland, Sweden, near the lake of Rusken. Nydala (from Swedish ny, meaning new, and dal, meaning valley) was called Sancta Maria de Nova Valle or just Nova Vallis in Latin. It was founded together with Alvastra Abbey in 1147 as the first cistercian monasteries in Sweden. King Gustavus Vasa appropriated the abbey in the 1520s, and the Danes sacked it in 1568.

Komstad
Komstad is a village in the former Norra Ljunga Parish, Småland, Sweden, suited about 4 km west of Sävsjö town. It is an old village, mentioned in historical records as early as 1370. From this village came Jonas Bronck who gave name to The Bronx, New York, USA. Komstad was previously the location for the parish's Thing and was the main village in Västra Härad (western part of Njudung). But when the railroad was constructed in the 1860s, nearby Sävsjö became the new main town in the region.

Sävsjö Municipality
Sävsjö Municipality (Sävsjö kommun) is a municipality in Jönköping County, southern Sweden where the town Sävsjö is seat. The municipality was created by the local government reform of 1971, when the City of Sävsjö (instituted as late as 1947) was amalgamated with parts of two adjacent rural municipalities. Two years later it was completed when Hjälmseryd was added.
