Mien is a lake in southern Sweden, 12 km (7.5 mi) southwest of the town of Tingsryd. The lake is formed within a meteorite crater. The present municipality was formed by the local government reform of 1971 when the market town Tingsryd (instituted in 1921) was amalgamated with its surrounding entities.
