Kronoberg Castle

Kronoberg Castle is a medieval ruin located on an island in lake Helgasjön, 5 kilometres north of the town of Växjö in Småland, Sweden. Kronoberg County, in which it is located, was named after the castle. {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:56|56|25|N|14|47|42|E|region:SE_type:landmark |primary |name= }} In 1444 Lars Mikaelson, the bishop of Växjö, built a stone building on the lakeshore. During the Dano-Swedish War of 1470-1471, Danish forces destroyed the house.

Värendsvallen

Värendsvallen is a multi-purpose stadium in Växjö, Sweden. It is currently used mostly for football matches and was the home stadium of Östers IF until September 2012. The stadium currently holds 15,062 people and was built in 1966. The highest attendance ever was 26,404 against IK Brage in 1967, in the qualifying game for Allsvenskan. The following season, Öster averaged an attendance of 15,622 on their road to the club's first Swedish Championship.

Vida Arena

Vida Arena (branded as VIDA Arena) is an indoor sporting arena located in Växjö, Sweden. The arena opened in September 2011 and is best known as the ice hockey team Växjö Lakers' home arena. It seats 5,700 spectators.

Myresjöhus Arena

Myresjöhus Arena is a football stadium in Växjö, Sweden and the home of Allsvenskan club Östers IF.
