Åsnen

Åsnen is a large lake in southern Småland, Sweden, roughly 150 km² in size. The river Mörrumsån flows south from Åsnen into the Baltic Sea. The lake lies south of Alvesta and Växjö and northwest of Tingsryd and is the second-largest lake in Smålands, after Bolmen. Approximately 19 km² of the lake's area is occupied by small islands. Åsnen has many small bays and islands, the largest of which is Sirkön.

Alvesta Municipality

Alvesta Municipality (Alvesta kommun) is a municipality in Kronoberg County, southern Sweden. Its seat is in Alvesta. The present municipality was created in 1971, when the market town Alvesta (instituted in 1945) was amalgamated with four surrounding rural municipalities. Amalgamations had also taken place in 1952 and 1963. The number of original local government entities within the present municipality is twelve. The municipal arms are from 1951 and depict three bees and a winged wheel.

Värendsvallen

Värendsvallen is a multi-purpose stadium in Växjö, Sweden. It is currently used mostly for football matches and was the home stadium of Östers IF until September 2012. The stadium currently holds 15,062 people and was built in 1966. The highest attendance ever was 26,404 against IK Brage in 1967, in the qualifying game for Allsvenskan. The following season, Öster averaged an attendance of 15,622 on their road to the club's first Swedish Championship.
