Kumla Municipality

Kumla Municipality (Kumla kommun) is a municipality in Örebro County in central Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Kumla. The present municipality was formed during the latest nation-wide local government reform in Sweden, with the amalgamations taking place in 1966 and 1971. Ysätters-Kajsa

Ysätters-Kajsa was a wind-troll that people used to believe in the Swedish province of Närke, probably the only one of her kind in Scandinavia. The Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf immortalised Ysätters-Kajsa in her famous novel The Wonderful Adventures of Nils (1906–1907). She wrote that in Närke, in the old days, there was something that existed nowhere else and it was a troll named Ysätters-Kajsa.

Tylöskog

Tylöskog is a deep and extensive forest between the agricultural plains of the counties of Närke and Östergötland in southeast Sweden. Together with Tiveden to its west and Kolmården to its east, it famously constituted the wartorn frontier between the Swedes in Svealand and the Geats in Götaland during the formation of the Swedish nation in the 13th century. The name is derived from Tylö, a small locality in the forest (the suffix skog meaning forest in Swedish).
