Forsby-Köping limestone cableway
The Forsby-Köping limestone cableway, commonly referred to in Swedish as Kalklinbanan, is a 42 km aerial tramway running from Forsby in Vingåker municipality to industrial town Köping in central Sweden. Its final destination is the factory at the port of Köping, where cement was manufactured until 1978, and later various limestone derivatives. The cableway was Europe's longest at the time of construction.

Hjälmare kanal
Hjälmaren Canal is a 13 kilometres long canal that connects Lake Hjälmaren with Lake Mälaren in Sweden. The canal was taken into use in 1639, aimed to transport iron from the Central Swedish Mining District to Stockholm and further abroad. Plans to extend the canal east of Örebro to Lake Vänern and further to Göta älv were never realized. Instead Göta Canal, located further south and taken into use in 1832, fulfilled the aimed function of connecting the Baltic with the North Sea.

Julita Abbey
Julita Abbey was a Cistercian monastery in the parish of Julita in Oppunda Hundred, Södermanland, Sweden. The monastery was originally founded in 1160 at Viby, close to Sigtuna, but under the patronage of King Knut Eriksson, who donated land and a right to parts of the fishing at Älvkarleby, it was moved in 1180 to Säby by the lake Öljaren in Julita. The monastery was therefore also known as Säby, or Saba in Latin.
