Eskilstuna Municipality

Eskilstuna Municipality (Eskilstuna kommun) is a municipality in Södermanland County in southeast Sweden, between the lakes Mälaren and Hjälmaren. Its seat is located in the city of Eskilstuna. The present municipality was formed in 1971 when the City of Eskilstuna, the City of Torshälla and five rural municipalities were amalgamated.

Tunavallen

Tunavallen is a multi-use stadium in Eskilstuna, Sweden. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 7,800 seated spectators. The original stadium was host for the 1958 FIFA World Cup venue. Capacity 22.000 spectators. In 2002 a new arena was built. Home ground for the football team Eskilstuna City FK in division 1.

Mälaren Valley

The Mälaren Valley, occasionally referred to as Stockholm-Mälaren Region (Stockholm-Mälaren regionen), is the easternmost part of Svealand, the catchment area of Lake Mälaren and the surrounding municipalities. The term is often used interchangeably for the extended capital region of Sweden as Stockholm is located at the lake's eastern end, at its outlet in the Baltic Sea.
