Täby kyrka (Täby Church) is a medieval church in the municipality of the same name, in the province of Uppland and the northern part of Stockholm County. The church is best known for its painted walls and ceilings by Albertus Pictor.

Täby kyrkby

Täby kyrkby (Village of Täby church), is a village in the Vallentuna urban area of the Täby Municipality of Sweden. The village was originally named Täby, and has given Täby Municipality its name. Täby kyrkby is situated in the northern part of the municipality, close to Vallentuna Municipality and Lake Vallentuna. Täby kyrkby forms part of the Vallentuna urban area (tätorten Vallentuna). In 2002, there were 6744 inhabitants in Täby kyrkby.

Arkils tingstad

Arkils tingstad ("Assembly location of Arkil") is the remains of the Viking Age thing or assembly location of a hundred in Uppland, Sweden. It is situated on the outskirts of Stockholm. The remains consist of a rectangular stone formation and two runestones. The runestones and the assembly location were created by the Skålhamra clan who also had the two Risbyle Runestones made across the lake near their estate. It consequently appears that they owned land on both sides of the lake.

Upplands Väsby Municipality

Upplands Väsby Municipality (Upplands Väsby kommun) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden, with a population of 38,963 (2010). Its seat is located in the town of Upplands Väsby. The municipality was created in connection with the municipal reform of 1952, when the rural municipalities Ed, Fresta and Hammarby were amalgamated. It got its name from a settlement which had evolved around the railway station. The name Väsby can be attested (as Vesby) from the 13th century.
