Ekerö Municipality
Ekerö Municipality (Ekerö kommun) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. The name comes from the island Ekerö, and literally means "Oak Island". Its seat is located in the town of Ekerö. Even if the City of Stockholm is the official capital of Sweden, the King of Sweden actually lives in Ekerö Municipality, at Drottningholm Palace (see below). It is assumed that Ingeborg lived at old Asknäs estate that is located close to the church. The stone is also referred to as the Ingeborg-stone. Hässelby Villastad is a suburban area in the north-western part of the Swedish capital Stockholm. It forms part of Västerort, Stockholm Municipality.
