Rawil Pass

The Rawil Pass (el. 2429 m. ) is a high mountain pass across the western Bernese Alps, connecting Lenk in the canton of Berne in Switzerland and Anzère or Crans Montana in the canton of Valais. The pass lies between the Wildhorn on the west and the Wildstrubel on the east. Lac de Tseuzier is located south of the pass.

Iffigsee

Iffigsee is a lake near Lenk, in Canton of Berne, Switzerland. The lake is located in the Iffigtal, near Rawil Pass. To the south of the lake is the Wildhorn (3,248 metres).

Plaine Morte

The Plaine Morte is a glacier located at an elevation of 2,750 m, in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. The ice field, which covers 10 square kilometres, is located below the mountain of Wildstrubel in the Bernese Alps. The area of Plaine Morte is easily accessible from Crans-Montana by cable car and the practice of cross-country skiing is possible throughout the year. The summit of the Pointe de la Plaine Morte offers impressive views of the Valais Alps.

Schnidejoch

The Schnidejoch is a mountain pass in the Bernese Alps, at 2,756 m above sea level, cutting across the ridge connecting the Schnidehorn and the Wildhorn. Archaeological artifacts, their dates spread over six millennia (from the Neolithic to the Late Middle Ages), have been discovered near the pass. They suggest that the pass was in regular use as a short route across the Bernese Alps, connecting the Bernese Oberland and the Valais, throughout this period.

Lac de Tseuzier

Lac de Tseuzier is an artificial lake in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It is located in the municipalities of Ayent and Icogne. The reservoir has a volume of 51 mio m³ and a surface area of 0.85 km². It was formed by the dams of Zeuzier (156 m) and Proz-Riond (20 m) built in 1957.
