Bernese Oberland
The Bernese Oberland is the higher part of the canton of Bern, Switzerland, in the southern end of the canton: The area around Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, and the valleys of the Bernese Alps . The flag of the Bernese Oberland consists of a black eagle in a gold field (in reference to the region's old status as reichsfrei) over two fields in the cantonal colours of red and black.

Wilderswil railway station
Wilderswil is a railway station in the village and municipality of Wilderswil in the Swiss canton of Bern. The station is on the Berner Oberland Bahn, whose trains operate services to Interlaken Ost, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. It is also the valley terminus of the Schynige Platte Railway, whose trains operate to the Schynige Platte and are stabled at a depot bordering the station. The two lines use different gauges, and there is no physical connection between them.

Isenfluh
Isenfluh is a hamlet in Switzerland, north of the road from Wilderswil to Lauterbrunnen. In 1973, Isenfluh, together with Wengen, Muerren, Gimmelwald, Stechelberg and Lauterbrunnen, became part of the municipality of Lauterbrunnen. The infrastructure of Isenfluh is installed, but a lot of the support comes from self-help groups. Since the village school was closed for financial reasons by the government of the Canton of Bern, the children of Isenfluh attend school in Lauterbrunnen.

Heimwehfluhbahn
The Heimwehfluhbahn (DIH) is a funicular at Interlaken in the Swiss Canton of Berne. It runs to the top of the nearby Heimwehfluh hill at an altitude of 680 metres above sea level. The funicular provides access to the hilltop restaurant, an observation tower, an O gauge model railway, a children's playground and two bobsleigh runs.

Zweilütschinen railway station
Zweilütschinen is a railway station in the municipality of Gündlischwand in the Swiss canton of Bern. The station is on the Berner Oberland Bahn, whose trains operate services to Interlaken Ost, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. It takes its name from the hamlet of Zweilütschinen, which itself is named after the nearby confluence of the White and the Black branches of the Lütschine river. The depot and workshops of the Berner Oberland Bahn are located beside the station.
