Mattenalpsee
Mattenalpsee (or Lake Mattenalp) is a reservoir in the municipality of Innertkirchen, Canton of Berne, Switzerland. Its surface area is 0.186 km². The lake receives the water from Gauli Glacier. The water is channeled into Räterichsbodensee.

Gauli Glacier
The Gauli Glacier is a 6.2 km long glacier (2005) situated in the Bernese Alps in the canton of Berne in Switzerland. In 1973 it had an area of 17.7 km . The glacier is famous for the C-53 Dakota Crash on the Gauli Glacier and the following rescue mission, which was the first carried out by an aircraft landing on a glacier.

Reichenbachtal
Reichenbachtal is an alpine valley in Oberhasli, Canton of Berne, Switzerland. It is situated within the municipality of Schattenhalb, connecting Meiringen with the Grosse Scheidegg pass towards Grindelwald. Its water, the Reichenbach stream, forms the Reichenbach Falls before joining the Aare at Meiringen. Rosenlaui is the highest settlement in the valley, situated approximately halfway up, at 1,328 m above sea level. The valley is also known as Rosenlauital after the settlement.

Reichenbach Falls
The Reichenbach Falls (Reichenbachfall) are a series of waterfalls on the Reichenbach stream in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. They have a total drop of 250 metres . At 90 metres, the Upper Reichenbach Falls is one of the highest cataracts in the Alps. Today, a hydro-electric power company harnesses the flow of the Reichenbach Falls during certain times of year, reducing its flow.
