Breganzona
Breganzona is a quarter of the city of Lugano, Switzerland. Breganzona was formerly a municipality of its own, having been incorporated into Lugano in 2004. It was first recorded in 984 as Brianzona. The municipality had 232 inhabitants in 1850, which increased to 369 in 1900, 883 in 1950, 4,654 in 1990 and 4,782 in 2000.

The village Biogno was located in Breganzona, except for Mulini which was moved to Bioggio.

Lugano Airport is a regional airport located 4 km west of the Swiss city of Lugano, in the municipalities of Agno, Bioggio and Muzzano. It lies closer to the village of Agno than to Lugano itself, and is sometimes known as Lugano-Agno. The airport is situated on land owned the city of Lugano, whilst management is the responsibility of Lugano Airport SA, whose shares are owned by the canton of Ticino (12.5%) and the city (87.5%).

Gentilino
Gentilino is a village and former municipality in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland. The local Church of Sant'Abbondio (not to be confused with the nearby Swiss municipality of Sant'Abbondio or the Basilica of Sant'Abbondio in Lombard, Italy) is noteworthy for dating from the eleventh century. The cemetery of Sant'Abbondio is the resting place of Hugo Ball, Bruno Walter, and Herman Hesse. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
