Brig railway station
Brig railway station is an important railway junction in the municipality of Brig-Glis, in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland. Opened in 1906, it is adjacent to the northern portal of the Simplon Tunnel, and is served by three standard gauge lines and two metre gauge lines.

Stockalper Palace
The Stockalper Palace is a castle in Brig-Glis, Switzerland. It was built between 1658 and 1678 by Kaspar Stockalper, a silk merchant of Brig. The Stockalper Palace was the largest private construction in Switzerland at the time. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. Today, the castle is uninhabited and visitors may only enjoy access by guided tour. Tours take place during May to October at 9.30, 10.30, 13.30, 14.30, 15.30 and 16.30*.

Simplon Tunnel
The Simplon Tunnel is a railway tunnel that connects Brig, Switzerland and Domodossola, Italy, through the Alps, but not under Simplon Pass itself. It is straight except for shore curves at either end. It actually consists of two single-track tunnels built nearly 20 years apart. The first to be opened is 19,700 meters long, the second is 19,824 meters long, making it the longest railway tunnel in the world until the opening of the Daishimizu Tunnel in 1982.

Visp railway station
Visp railway station is a junction station at Visp, in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland. It has a modern station building completed in 2007, and is served by two standard gauge lines and a metre gauge line. Visp station is now the busiest railway station in Valais, and is one of the ten busiest railway stations in Switzerland. Every day, about 340 trains stop at Visp, and approximately 60,000 passengers use the station, mostly for changing to and from trains calling at Sion.
