Cijin District, Kaohsiung

Qijin District is a district of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, covering Qijin Island. Qijin Island was once connected to the mainland at the southern tip, but in 1967, this link was severed to create a second entry point to the Port of Kaohsiung.

Caoya, Kaohsiung

Caoya (草衙) is a small town in the southern direction of Qianzhen District of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The name "Caoya", which originally means a draft government building of Zheng Chenggong in Ming dynasty, now consists of more than 12,000 people. Caoya is also the nearest town to one of the largest fish-market (Qianzhen Harbor).
