Fusing, Taoyuan

Fu-Hsing redirects here. For the Chinese god of wealth and happiness, see Three Star Gods. Fusing is an aboriginal township in eastern Taoyuan County, Taiwan Province of the Republic of China. Fusing is home to many Atayal tribes. Lalashan (拉拉山), is a major feature of Fusing, and the Shimen Reservoir, formed by Shimen Dam, is a popular nearby site. Cihu Mausoleum

The Cihu Presidential Burial Place, or Cihu Mausoleum is the temporary resting place of President Chiang Kai-shek. It is located in Daxi Township, Taoyuan County, Taiwan. When Chiang Kai-shek died in 1975, he was not buried in the traditional Chinese fashion but entombed in a black marble sarcophagus since he expressed the wish to be eventually buried in his native Fenghua in Zhejiang province once the Kuomintang (KMT) recovered China from the Communists.

Chiang Kai-shek statues

A Chiang Kai-shek statue (Chinese: 蔣公銅像; pinyin: Jiǎng Gōng Tóngxiàng; literally "President Chiang Bronze Statue") are statues of the late Republic of China (ROC) President Chiang Kai-shek. They are found almost everywhere in Taiwan, from parks to schools to military bases, and are usually made of an bronze alloy, although it varies from location to location.

Sanxia District

Sanxia District is an urban district in the southwestern part of New Taipei City in northern Republic of China (Taiwan). It has an area of 191.45 km² and a population of 101,839 (May 2010). The old name of Sanxia, Saⁿ-kak-éng refers to the meeting of the Dahan River, Sansia River, and "Horizontal River" (橫溪). In 1920, Taiwan's Japanese government designated it an administrative area named Sankyō: "Three Gorges".
