Chung Hua University

Chung Hua University is a private university located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. It was formerly known as Chung Hua Polytechnic Institute founded in 1990 by three local Hsinchu entrepreneurs, Ron-Chang Wang, Zau-Juang Tsai, and Junq-Tzer Lin. It upgraded university status and renamed as "Chung Hua University" in 1997. There are six colleges with 25 departments offering undergraduate courses as well as 16 master programs and 3 PH.D. programs.

Asia-Pacific Institute of Creativity

The Asia-Pacific Institute of Creativity, formerly known as Chin Min College of Technology and Commerce (親民技術學院), is an educational college in Taiwan. Founded as the Chin Min Junior College of Technology and Commerce by Jou Benchi and Chen Kuan-hua in 1988, it took its current name in 1993. As of 2004 it has approximately 6,800 students and 250 administrative and teaching staff.

Hsinchu American School

Baoshan, Hsinchu

Baoshan Township is located in western Hsinchu County, Taiwan. The name Baoshan means "Treasure Mountain" in Mandarin Chinese. It is ostensibly a suburb of Hsinchu City to the north and west, and is also bounded by Zhudong City to the east, Beipu and Emei Towns to the south, and Miaoli County to the west. The town is populated predominantly by people of Hakka ethnicity, and is part of "the Greater Daai Area -- the largest Hakka area in northern Taiwan" along with Beipu and Emei. http://www.
