Chung Hua University

Chung Hua University is a private university located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. It was formerly known as Chung Hua Polytechnic Institute founded in 1990 by three local Hsinchu entrepreneurs, Ron-Chang Wang, Zau-Juang Tsai, and Junq-Tzer Lin. It upgraded university status and renamed as "Chung Hua University" in 1997. There are six colleges with 25 departments offering undergraduate courses as well as 16 master programs and 3 PH.D. programs.

Hsinchu American School

Hsinchu Air Base

Hsinchu Air Base is an airbase in Hsinchu, Taiwan. It was opened on January 1, 1998. As of the late 1990s, the longest runway at Hsinchu was reportedly 12,000 feet (3658 m) long. The air base is located at 24°49'05" north latitude and 120°56'21" east longitude. Stationed at Hsinchu AB: 499th Tactical Fighter Wing 41 Sqn (Mirage 2000) 42 Sqn (Mirage 2000) 48 Sqn (Mirage 2000).

Hsinchu CKS Baseball Stadium

Hsinchu CKS Baseball Stadium (Hsinchu Chiang Kai-shek Baseball Stadium) is a baseball stadium in Hsinchu City in Northern Taiwan. Originally it was to have been called the Hsinchu Sadaharu Oh Baseball Stadium; however, during its construction the then President of the Republic of China, Chiang Kai-shek, died, and the stadium was renamed in his honour. Inaugurated on 27 November 1976, the stadium has been in use ever since.
