Temeke District is the southernmost of three districts in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with Kinondoni located to the far North of the city, and Ilala being located in the downtown of Dar es Salaam. Uhuru Stadium
Uhuru stadium, (formerly known as the Tanzania National Stadium) is the current home of Tanzanian Dar es Salaam-based football clubs Simba SC and Young Africans FC. It is currently undergoing major renovations, and will have a capacity of approximately 20,000 people up completion. It is located next to the new national stadium of the Tanzania national football team, the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium, which has an all seated capacity of 60,000 people.
