Mwanza

Mwanza is a mid-sized port city on the southern shores of Lake Victoria in northwestern Tanzania. With an urban population of 1.2 million and a metropolitan population of 2 million, it is Tanzania's second largest city, following Dar es Salaam and ahead of other major Tanzanian cities of Arusha, Mbeya and Tanga. Mwanza is the capital of the surrounding Mwanza Region.

Ngara District

Ngara District is one of the eight districts of the Kagera Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Karagwe District, to the east by Biharamulo District, to the south by the Kigoma Region, to the northeast by Muleba District and to the west by the countries of Rwanda and Burundi. According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Ngara District was 334,939.

Isamilo International School Mwanza, founded in 1956, is an international school for students aged 3 to 18 in Mwanza, Tanzania. Mwanza Region

Mwanza Region is one of the regions of Tanzania. Its capital is Mwanza, which is also Tanzania's second most populous city. The neighbouring regions are Kagera and Geita to the west, Shinyanga to the south, and Mara to the east. Furthermore, Lake Victoria borders the region's north frontier. Mhe. Richard Wambura was the Regional Commissioner from 1961 to 1962. From 2003 to the end of 2005 the regional commissioner was Daniel Ole Njoolay.
