Wat Hong

Wat Sothornwararamworaviharn or Wat Hong is the oldest temple in Chachoengsao Province, Thailand. The temple is located within the town Chachoengsao on the banks of the Bang Pakong River. The temple houses a Buddha statue named Phra Phutthasothon or Luang Pho Sothon, 1.65 m wide and 1.48 m high. The statue is highly revered locally and the target of pilgrimage. A new building housing this statue was inaugurated in 2006.

Chachoengsao is a province (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi, Chon Buri, Samut Prakan, Bangkok, Pathum Thani and Nakhon Nayok. It also has a short coast to the Gulf of Thailand.

Bang Pakong River

The Bang Pakong is a river in east Thailand. The river originates at the confluence of the Nakhon Nayok River and the Prachinburi River at Pak Nam Yothaka in Amphoe Ban Sang, Prachinburi Province. It empties into the Gulf of Thailand in the northeastern tip of the Bay of Bangkok. The watershed of the Bang Pa Kong is about 17,000 km². It also powers a big power station near the mouth; near highway 7.

72-years Anniversary Stadium

Chalerm Phrakiat 72nd Stadium Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Minburi, Thailand. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of BEC Tero Sasana F.C. in Thai Premier League. The stadium holds 10,000 people. The stadium consists of two large single tier stands on each side of the pitch. There is no accommodation at either end. Only one of the stands has a cover but it doesn't provide much shelter.
