Phra Ajahn Plien Panyapatipo is the current abbot of Wat Aranyawiwake, where he resided since 1966. Wat Aranyawiwake was established and named by Luang Pho Mun Bhuridatta, the “father” of the current tradition of forest meditation monastics.
