Tak Bai
Tak Bai is a border town on Malaysia-Thailand Border, the capital of Tak Bai district, Narathiwat province. Visitors can visit Malaysia by Pengkalan Kubur pass, Kelantan state. Administratively it is a town, and covers 9.14 km² of the subdistrict Che He. As of 2007 it has a population of 17,317. It is the location of the Tak Bai Incident, in which on October 25, 2004 at least 85 demonstrators died.

Tumpat
Tumpat is a town and a district (jajahan) in Kelantan, Malaysia. Tumpat is situated at the end of the East Coast Line train line operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu (Malayan Railways) which links Kelantan to the western part of Peninsular Malaysia. This strategic location makes it the transportation hub of Kelantan. Tumpat town is approximately 15 km from the state capital, Kota Bharu. Tumpat district is one of the smallest districts in Kelantan with an area of only 169.5 square kilometres.

Kelantan River
The Kelantan River (named Sungai Kelantan in Malay language) is the major river in Kelantan, Malaysia. It drains a catchment area of about 11900 km² in north-east Malaysia including part of the Taman Negara National Park, and flows northwards into the South China Sea. The rainfall over the area varies between 0 mm in the dry season (March–May) to 1750 mm in the monsoon season (November–January). The average runoff from the area is about 500 m³/s.
