Kara is one of Togo's five regions. Kara is the regional capital. Other major cities in the Kara region include Bafilo, Bassar, and Niamtougou. Kara is divided into the prefectures of Assoli, Bassar, Bimah, Dankpen, Doufelgou, Kéran, and Kozah. Kara is located north of Centrale Region and south of Savanes Region. Kara, Togo

Kara is a city in northern Togo, situated in Kara Region, 413 km north of the capital Lomé. Situated in the country of Togo, near the other western African countries of Ghana, Burkina Faso and Benin. Kara is the capital of the Kara region and had a population of 94,878 at the 2010 Census. The Haugeau River flows a little way south of the city and is their main resource of water.

Lanké

Lånke is a village and former municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in south-central part of the present-day municipality of Stjørdal, south of the Stjørdalselva river. The famous Hell Station in the village of Hell is situated in the westernmost part of Lånke. There are two churches in Lånke: Lånke Church and Elvran Church.
