Djemna

Djemna, also spelt Jemna, is a small town located in southern Tunisia. The town is part of the Kebili Governorate. It is surrounded by the Tunisian Sahara. The city is known by its A'in (العين in Arabic) which is a source of healthy water. Djemna is one of the biggest producers of dates or deglets in Tunisia. Djemna contains one of the oldest libraries in Tunisia (located in the old mosque). Djemna also contains the south scientific center of the City of Sciences.

El Golâa

El Golâa is a village in southern Tunisia. It is located southeast of Chott el Djerid a few miles north of Douz in the region of Nefzaoua. It is administratively attached to the Kebili Governorate, Tunisia. As of 2004, it had a population of 7,037. Like many villages and towns surrounding its name provides information on the site. Here, El Golâa means "citadel" (like its namesake in the south of the Algeria).

Kebili

Kebili is a desert town in central Tunisia and one of the main cities in Nefzaoua. It is located at around {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:33|42|7|N|8|58|25|E| | |name= }}, south of the Chott el-Jerid. It is the capital of the Kebili Governorate.

Zaafrane, Tunisia

Zaafrane is a small desert oasis village in central Tunisia. It is located at around {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:33|26|17|N|8|55|5|E| | |name= }} and is the gateway to the Grand Erg Oriental desert. It is the centre for the traditionally nomadic Adhara people.

Douz

Douz is a town in the Kebili Governorate in the south of Tunisia, known as the "gateway to the Sahara. " By road it is located 31 kilometres kilometres southwest of Blidet, 125 kilometres southeast of Tozeur, and 475 kilometres south of the Tunisian capital of Tunis. It has been called the "ultimate palm oasis", because it has over 500,000 palm trees in the area, and it is a major producer of "diglat noor" dates. In previous times it was an important stop on the trans-Saharan caravan routes.
