Gelinkaya

Gelinkaya (former Keverhavar) is a town in Midyat district of Mardin Province, Turkey. The town is situated at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:37|25|N|41|16|E||| | |name= }} in Southeastern Anatolia. Turkish state highway D.380 is to the north and Midyat is to the east of the town. The distance to Midyat is about 10 kilometres . The population of Gelinkaya is 5203 as of 2011. Mount Izla

Mt. Izla (Syriac: ܛܘܪܐ ܕܐܝܙܠܐ Turo d'Izlo), also Mountain of Nisibis, or briefly in the 9th century, Mt. Kashyari, is a low mountain or ridge near Nisibis in what once was Sassanid Persia, but is now southeastern Turkey, along the border with Syria. The ridge is the location of dozens of ancient monasteries which were built in the early centuries of Christianity. In modern times, all of the monasteries are in ruins except for that of Saint Melke, Mor Malke Monastery.
