Şanlıurfa GAP Airport

Şanlıurfa GAP Airport is an airport in Gölgen, Şanlıurfa Province, Turkey. It is located about 34 km northeast of the city of Şanlıurfa, on the road to Diyarbakir, about 20 km southwest of Hilvan. The airport is part of the South East Anatolia project (Turkish: Güney Dogu Anadolu Projesi, known as "GAP"), a regional development project in the area of the Atatürk Dam.

Tille Höyük

Tille Höyük is an archaeological site in southeast Turkey. It is a small settlement mound on the west bank of the Euphrates some 60 km east of Adiyaman. The site was excavated by the British Institute of Archaeology at Ankara, under the direction of David French, from 1978 to its flooding by the Ataturk Dam in 1990.
