Chatsworth House
Chatsworth House is a stately home in North Derbyshire, England, 3.5 miles northeast of Bakewell and 9 miles west of Chesterfield (GB Grid SK260700). It is the seat of the Duke of Devonshire, and has been home to his family, the Cavendish family, since Bess of Hardwick settled at Chatsworth in 1549. Standing on the east bank of the River Derwent, Chatsworth looks across to the low hills that divide the Derwent and Wye valleys.

Hob Hurst's House
Hob Hurst's House is a Bronze Age barrow on Beeley Moor near Bakewell in Derbyshire. It is unique in that instead of the normal round shape, Hob Hurst's barrow is rectangular. Originally made with 13 stones, only five remain today. It is situated on the highest part of Beeley Moor. It is 11 yards in diameter and 4 feet high, with a ditch and an external bank of 22 yards diameter. There are numerous prehistoric mounds on these moors, many marking late Neolithic and early Bronze Age burial sites.

Haddon Hall
Haddon Hall is an English country house on the River Wye at Bakewell, Derbyshire, one of the seats of the Duke of Rutland. It is currently occupied by Lord Edward Manners and his family. In form a medieval manor house, it has been described as "the most complete and most interesting house of [its its] period". The origins of the hall date to the 11th century. The current medieval and Tudor hall includes additions added at various stages between the 13th and the 17th centuries.
