Colchester Community Stadium
The Colchester Community Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as the Weston Homes Community Stadium, is an all-seater football stadium, the home of Colchester United. The stadium was built at Cuckoo Farm, on the northern outskirts of Colchester, with work beginning in July 2007, ready for the 2008–09 season. The stadium has a capacity of about 10,000, with the potential to increase this to 18,000.

RAF Boxted
Royal Air Force Station Boxted or more simply RAF Boxted is a former Royal Air Force station in Essex, England. The airfield is located approximately 4 miles north-northeast of Colchester; about 44 miles northeast of London Opened in 1943, it was used by the United States Army Air Forces. RAF Boxted has the distinction of having been the airfield for the two most successful USAAF fighter groups in air-to-air combat. After the war it was used by the Royal Air Force for jet aircraft testing.

Longview Psychiatric Unit
The Longview Psychiatric Unit is an adolescent-only mental health facility, which deals with children between the ages of eleven and seventeen. The facility is sited at 216 Turner Road, Colchester, Essex. It is one of the few psychiatric hospitals for adolescents located in Essex. The hospital previously had an intensive outreach program, but the Crisis team have since moved to Holmer Court, Colchester.

Castle Park Cricket Ground
Castle Park Cricket Ground is an English First-class cricket ground in Colchester. The ground is in Lower Castle Park, part of the land surrounding Colchester Castle. It is used by Essex County Cricket Club for some of their First-class cricket matches. Essex played both County Championship and Pro40 matches here in 2007. When the ground isn't used to stage First-class cricket matches, it is frequently used for Colchester & East Essex Cricket Club.
