Enstone Airfield

Enstone Airfield is a small civilian airfield close to Enstone in Oxfordshire, which is used for microlights, light aircraft and motor gliders. The ICAO designator is EGTN and its contact radio frequency is 129.875. The airfield has a paved main runway 08/26 is 1100 meters long with a parallel grass strip "south side grass" of 800 meters which can be used by some aircraft. It was formerly called RAF Enstone and was built during World War II as a Royal Air Force base.

Heythrop Park

Heythrop Park is an early 18th century country house 1 mile southeast of Heythrop in Oxfordshire. It was designed by the architect Thomas Archer in the Baroque style for Charles Talbot, 1st Duke of Shrewsbury. A fire in 1831 destroyed the original interior. From 1922 until 1999 Heythrop housed first a Jesuit tertiary education college, and later a training establishment. The house is now the main building of the Heythrop Park Hotel, Golf & Country Club.

Lotus F1

Lotus F1 Team is a British Formula One racing team. The team competed under the Lotus name for the first time in the 2012 Formula One season, following the renaming of the former Renault team based at Enstone in Oxfordshire. Lotus F1 Team is owned by Luxembourg-based venture capital group Genii Capital and named after its branding partner Group Lotus.

Renault in Formula One

Renault has been associated with Formula One as both constructors and engine suppliers for various periods since 1977. It was in 1977 that the company entered Formula One as a constructor, introducing the turbo engine to Formula One in their first car, the Renault RS01. Although the Renault team won races and competed for world titles, it withdrew at the end of 1985.

Hook Norton ironstone quarries (Brymbo)

The Hook Norton ironstone quarries (Brymbo) were ironstone quarries near Hook Norton in Oxfordshire, England. The quarries were in operation from 1899 to 1946 supplying ironstone to the Brymbo Steelworks in Wrexham and were served by an extensive narrow gauge industrial railway.
