Vale Royal Abbey

The abbey was founded in 1270 by Edward I for monks of the austere Cistercian order. Hartford Church of England High School is a voluntary aided Church of England secondary school on Chester Road in Hartford, Cheshire, for students aged between eleven and sixteen.
