Holme Hall, East Riding of Yorkshire

Holme Hall is a grade II* listed 18th century country house in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Its now functions as a Sue Ryder Care Home. The house was built c.1720-30 to designs of William Wakefield for Lord Langdale, with a chapel added in 1766 by John Carr. It is constructed in two storeys of rendered brick with tile and Westmorland slate roofs, with a 5-bay frontage.

River Foulness

The River Foulness is a river in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Like the island in Essex, its name is derived from old English fulga-naess meaning wild birds nest. Maintenance responsibilities for the river transferred from the Environment Agency to the Market Weighton Drainage Board on 1 October 2011. Market Weighton Drainage Board subsequently amalgamated with the Lower Ouse Internal Drainage Board on 1 April 2012 to create the Ouse and Humber Drainage Board.

Ss Mary & Everilda, Everingham

The Chapel of St. Mary the Virgin and St. Everilda, in the village of Everingham in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, is an impressive Italianate-style Roman Catholic chapel within the Diocese of Middlesbrough. RAF Holme-on-Spalding Moor

RAF Holme-on-Spalding Moor, or more simply RAF Holme as it was also known, was an airfield in Yorkshire. Built during the Second World War, it was used during the war by the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a bomber station, and after the war as a transport airfield and bomb store before being "mothballed". In the 1950s, the RAF used the station as a training camp before it was transferred to the United States Air Force (USAF) as a reserve station during the Cold War.
