River Frome, Herefordshire
The River Frome is a river in Herefordshire, England. It flows through Bromyard, and Bishops Frome. At Covender its tributary, the River Lodon, joins it. It then flows west, past Yarkhill, Prior's Frome, before its confluence with the River Lugg at Hampton Bishop. The river also gives its name to several hamlets on the higher ground to the east Halmond's Frome, Fromes Hill and Castle Frome. The river contains a few ruined locks and water mills.

The village itself is on a wedge between the River Wye and the River Lugg, and is also not far from where the River Frome meets the Lugg. A pair of European Bee-eaters made a nesting attempt here in 2005. The local pub, the "Bunch of Carrots", is located in the centre of the village on the B4224 next to a meander in the River Wye.
