West Jesmond Metro station is one of two Tyne and Wear Metro stations that serve the suburb of Jesmond in Newcastle upon Tyne. West Jesmond is the busiest suburban station on the Metro network, with 966,467 annual passenger boardings in 1995-96, which has further increased to over 1 million in 2008-9.

Central Newcastle High School

Central Newcastle High School (locally known as "Central High") is an independent day school for girls in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The Junior School is split across two sites in Gosforth and Sandyford Park and the Senior School is located in the neighbouring suburb of Jesmond. On 29 January 2013 it was announced that Central High will merge with the nearby Church High to form Newcastle High School for Girls in 2014.

A1058 road

The A1058 or the Coast Road is a major road in North Tyneside. It runs from Jesmond in Newcastle upon Tyne to Tynemouth which is located on the coast 8 miles to the east from Newcastle City Centre. From Heaton to Billy Mill the road is built to grade-separated dual carriageway standard. Tyne Metropolitan College is also located halfway along the road, which allows for easy transit to and from home. East of Billy Mill, it is known as Beach Road.

Royal Grammar School, Newcastle

Royal Grammar School, Newcastle upon Tyne, usually abbreviated as RGS, is a selective British independent school for pupils aged between 7 to 18 years. Founded in 1525 by Thomas Horsley, then-Mayor of Newcastle, it received royal foundation by Queen Elizabeth I and is the city's oldest institution of learning. The School is located in Newcastle upon Tyne, in North East England, and is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference.

Jesmond Metro station

Jesmond Metro station serves Jesmond in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The station opened in August 1980 and was purpose built as part of Tyne and Wear Metro. The station lies off the former North Tyneside Loop just north of the original Jesmond railway station. The station was used by over 1 million passengers in the period 2008-9.
