Little Torrington is a village and civil parish near Great Torrington, in the Torridge district, in north Devon, England. In 2001 the population of the civil parish of Little Torrington was 420. Rosemoor Garden

The Lady Anne Palmer created the original garden of 8 acres in 1959, and developed it over a 30 year period. The garden was first opened to the public in 1967, under the National Gardens Scheme.

Taddiport

Rolle Canal

The Rolle Canal (also known as the Torrington Canal) in North Devon, England runs 6 miles from Landcross, where it joins the River Torridge, to the limekilns at Rosemoor. It has one sea lock at Landcross, an inclined plane at Weare Giffard – to raise it 60 feet – and a five arch aqueduct (known as the Beam Aqueduct) over the River Torridge.
