Derby Grammar School is a selective independent school in Littleover near the city of Derby, England. Founded as a school for boys in 1995, it takes boys from the age of seven and currently has around three hundred pupils. The Sixth Form has been co-educational since September 2007. Royal Derby Hospital, (formerly Derby City General Hospital) is one of two teaching hospitals in the city of Derby, the other being the London Road Community Hospital. It is the second largest hospital in the East Midlands, and is one of the largest hospitals in the UK. The two hospitals are part of a single NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital has completed a massive rebuild, doubling the size of the buildings.
